IPL facials after Blepharoplasty

An IPL is a non invasive treatment that is great for pigmented spots and facial veins. It is easy to go through and causes only some temporary redness for a few hours afterwords. Blepharoplasty is great for rejuvenating the eyelids and swelling may typically last 2-3 weeks. “In general it is best to wait for swelling for one procedure to resolve before doing another one in the same approximate area,” says Dr. Andrew Miller, a Manhattan Facial Plastic Surgeon. It is highly advisable to follow the instructions of the surgeon who is performing your surgery, as combining many things at once can make the overall swelling last longer. Make sure to go over all concerns or questions at the pre operative appointment.
