When you have made the decision to have plastic surgery you want to find the best surgeon that fits your personal needs - not always the most prestigious doctor. It is always best to do some research first. The doctor that does the procedure should be a board certified plastic surgeon, with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and I imagine both of the people you are talking about have that qualification. It is important, in my opinion, to have a surgeon that will spend significant time with you preoperatively - that way, if something happens or you need additional care after the surgery, you know that surgeon will be there for you. You also need to view a lot of pictures at the consultation to get an idea of his work and if it fits your goals. Ultimately, there are many plastic surgeons that can perform a great breast augmentation, so if you feel good about the surgeon and he has proper qualifications, then that is usually the best route to go.
