During the procedure, one of our board-certified surgeons will make a tiny incision through which a cannula, or small suction device, is inserted. A laser hand piece is then manipulated across the skin, causing the fat cells to swell up and emulsify. This makes it far easier to remove the fat with the cannula. VASER energy causes skin contraction which further enhances your results. The laser energy also triggers the regrowth of collagen, a protein found naturally in the human body that is responsible for the skin’s resilience and youthful glow.
Recovery
VASERLipo is minimally invasive, so most clients find their recovery to be swift and painless. You will be up and walking around the same day as your procedure, however, there may be minor swelling and bruising for up to two weeks post-treatment. Please avoid strenuous exercise for several weeks such as heavy lifting of weights.
