Rhinoplasty plus chin augmentation can produce a wonderful result. This patient is a 22 year old female who was not happy with her nose. She also didn’t feel her face was in good proportion. Sometimes, patients with a nose that appears large can also have a chin that is small. This small chin can actually make the nose look bigger and give the face a curved appearance from the side. In this patient’s rhinoplasty, we took down her bump and refined her tip, while augmenting the chin at the same time. This resulted in not only a nicer appearing nose, but also a more balanced face which looks straighter from the side.
