BOTOX Injection in New Jersey & Staten Island

BOTOX Cosmetic in New Jersey, Staten Island

If you’re worried about wrinkles, fine lines or creases on your skin, you’re far from alone. Many New Jersey residents fear that they looked prematurely aged and fatigued as a result of these cosmetic imperfections.

Fortunately, there’s a solution, and it’s non-surgical. BOTOX® is one of the most common cosmetic procedures in the world- millions of people undergo BOTOX® treatments every year.

They make this choice because BOTOX® is exceptionally effective at eliminating wrinkles and other signs of age and wear. And when performed by our board-certified plastic surgeons, this treatment is exceptionally safe.

If you live in New Jersey or in a nearby community such as Staten Island and you want to learn more about BOTOX®’s potential to help you, please call Associates in Plastic Surgery today at 855-960-5525 for a consultation.

How Does BOTOX® Work?

The wrinkles and fine lines that bother you so much are the results of muscle movement. Your brain sends signals to the muscles in your face telling them to twitch. This is no problem in the short-term. But over the course of your life, an incalculable number of such twitches add up, and eventually the results are creases and wrinkles.

BOTOX® works at the muscular level in a very simple way: it prevents your muscles from receiving the signals your brain sends. When the muscles don’t receive the signals, they don’t twitch, and when they don’t twitch, wrinkles don’t form.

Over time, your muscles and skin will relax and smooth out, eliminating the fine lines and creases that can make you appear aged and fatigued.

The BOTOX® injection process itself is quite simple and safe. The entire process takes less than half an hour, and many patients undergo the treatments on their lunch break. Our board-certified plastic surgeon will make an injection in the treatment area, and that’s really the procedure.

BOTOX® results aren’t permanent- most last a few months, though the precise duration of your results is impossible to predict and will depend on your body’s unique chemistry.  Once the results wear off, you can return to our office for another procedure. Over time, your body will acclimate to the treatment and will not respond in the same way.

Again, this procedure is quite commonly performed. You should only undergo a BOTOX® treatment from an experienced, well-qualified plastic surgeon. If you do, you’ll have nothing to worry about.

If you’re a resident of New Jersey, Staten Island or any New York community and you want to remove the signs of age and wear, BOTOX® might be right for you. Please call Associates in Plastic Surgery today at 855-960-5525 for a consultation.
